This is a unique opportunity to combine business growth with social and environmental impact. Working with global buyers, traders, retailers, agribusinesses and impact investors, you will develop and deliver solutions that strengthen agricultural supply chains while improving opportunities for smallholder farmers across eastern Africa. At the same time, resilient smallholder farming systems are increasingly recognised as critical to the long-term success of agricultural supply chains. For almost 40 years, Farm Africa has partnered with farmers, businesses and market actors across eastern Africa to develop practical solutions that deliver commercial, social and environmental value. We are now investing in the growth of our commercial advisory and sustainable supply chain work, creating an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build relationships, win business and help shape a growing area of our organisation. What you'll do You will lead the development and delivery of a portfolio of commercial advisory work focused on: Sustainable coffee supply chains Sustainable horticulture supply chains Technical assistance services for impact investors and blended finance funds ESG, traceability and responsible sourcing solutions Building long-term commercial partnerships with corporates, traders, retailers and investors You'll identify opportunities, develop propositions, win contracts and manage delivery, helping businesses build more resilient and sustainable supply chains while generating income that supports Farm Africa's mission. About you We're looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for sustainable agriculture. You will bring: A proven track record of winning business, generating revenue and building strategic partnerships. Experience in agricultural, food, commodity or related supply chains. Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, traceability, certification or responsible sourcing. Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Experience engaging with senior decision-makers in corporate, investor or development finance environments. Knowledge of East African agricultural markets. An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to turn opportunities into results. Why join Farm Africa?
