Min Qualification: PHD Experience Level: Executive level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kampala, Uganda Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient performance. Supervise warehouse staff, sales representatives, and store assistants. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave records, and discipline. Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and training. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships. Manage inventory, stock receiving, storage, stock transfers, and stock counts. Ensure stock records are accurate and investigate any inventory discrepancies. Coordinate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve business performance. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail, FMCG, wholesale, or store management. Experience managing sales staff and warehouse personnel. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications. Experience using ERP systems is an added advantage. Honest, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
