Responsibilities
- 1.
- Operate as requested by dispatch staff including demand/ response trips during traditional and non-traditional days and work hours;
- 2.
- Regularly perform trip validations bus stop checks gate/ site and field checks, equipment transfers and shuttles;
- 3.
- Inspect bus cleanliness and body condition and inventory assistance for safety and accessory component;
- 4.
- Complete and submit field trip report
- 5.
- Provide bus safety
Education
- presentations to various individuals, driver assistance for non-police emergencies;
- 6.
- Prepare and submits reports identifying discrepancies in equipment and bus parts;
- 7.
- Provide mentoring with their specific knowledge on driving technique and strategies to other University drivers as assigned;
- 8.
- Operate all types and sizes of buses with minimum notification and preparation;
- 9.
- Collect and submit other data on university bus operations as assigned;
- 10.
- Maintain effective professional working relationships;
- 11.
- Regularly attend and/or participate in mandated instruction/training classes for specialized driving skills during traditional and nontraditional workdays and work hours;
- 12.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
