Role Description
The Business Development Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting the growth of Beyond Logistics Ltd’s 3PL services. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential markets, preparing proposals, conducting client meetings, and collaborating with internal teams to design tailored logistics solutions. The Business Development Officer will analyze performance data, prepare reports and forecasts, and support contract negotiations to ensure profitable and sustainable partnerships. The role also involves providing responsive customer service, gathering feedback, and contributing to marketing and sales initiatives that strengthen the company’s presence in the market.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, opportunity assessment, and relationship building.
