- We seek a proactive and community-focused Field Officer to implement Livelihoods and
Education
- programs, strengthen household resilience, support community groups, and promote child well-being. The ideal candidate has
- outcomes and parental engagement.
- Organize and support community groups, volunteers, and parent-led initiatives to enhance learning and child protection.
- Provide basic guidance, counseling, and referral support for vulnerable children and families.
- Mobilize, train, and mentor Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) and other livelihood groups.
- Support households to develop sustainable income-generating activities and strengthen food security.
- Train and coach farmers on improved agricultural practices, post-harvest handling, and farm management.
- Facilitate market linkages, value chain development, and access to relevant livelihood information.
- Collect, analyze, and report program data, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of results.
- Contribute to proposal development, activity planning, monitoring, and donor reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, teamwork, and community engagement skills, with a willingness to work in rural communities.
- NB:
- The field office is in Luuka region.
- It is mandatory to have a valid (not expired) driver's licence, and also be in a healthy condition to ride a motorbike.
