Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse District Nursing within the Irvine locality of our North Ayrshire District Nursing teams based at Bourtreehill Health Centre.
Hours
36 hours per week
The post holder will be expected to work Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment
This post is offered on a 12 month fixed term basis.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving Licence
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What You Will Do
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for the management of the caseload in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader including the supervision and redeployment of staff. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
