Working Environment
This position is located on Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT), a remote overseas location supporting U.S. Government operations. Responsibilities
The Compressed Air Systems Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of compressed air systems in accordance with Navy operational standards and facility requirements.

The operator conducts routine inspections, monitors system pressures and performance indicators, and records operational data in logs and reports. This role includes identifying abnormal conditions, responding to alarms, and notifying maintenance or supervisory personnel of system irregularities in accordance with established procedures.
Additional duties include performing housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks, assisting with minor troubleshooting, supporting system testing, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational protocols. The Compressed Air Systems Operator supports continuous, mission‑critical infrastructure operations in a remote, team‑oriented environment.
