The position involves developing training programmes, delivering hands-on instruction and assessing competency in electric vehicle technologies used across contemporary mining operations. This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of Uganda's mining sector by building local capacity in emerging electric mining technology, in direct support of Wagagai Mining's vision for sustainable, technologically advanced operations across Eastern Uganda.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive training curricula for electric mining truck maintenance, covering both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct classroom and practical sessions on fault diagnosis using industry-standard diagnostic tools and software.
- Train local mechanics to distinguish reliably between mechanical and electrical faults in electric mining truck operations.
- Establish standard operating procedures for routine maintenance and emergency response scenarios.
- Assess trainee competency through practical evaluations and written assessments to confirm certification readiness.
- Update training materials on an ongoing basis, incorporating equipment updates and field-operations feedback.
- Collaborate with international technical experts to align local training programmes with global best practice.
