Responsibilities
- 1. Generate Bills of Quantities and specifications;
- 2. Monitor all ongoing projects
- 3. Evaluate project and maintenance costs;
- 4. Endorse the certificates of works before payments are made;
- 5. Assist in establishing the client’s requirement and undertaking feasibility studies;
- 6. Perform risk, value management and cost control;
- 7. Provide advice on procurement strategy;
- 8. Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks;
- 9. Prepare and analyze costs for tenders.
- Required Qualifications
- i. Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying or Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Economics;
- ii. Must be a Professional Member of the Institution of Surveyors of Uganda;
- iii. Must be a Registered Quantity Surveyor with a valid practicing license from the Surveyors Registration Board of Uganda (SRB).
