As Hygiene Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our bakeries maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance.
Your
working in a hygiene or cleaning role within food manufacturing
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to lead by example and work alongside a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Desirable
Previous team leader or supervisory
within bakery or food manufacturing
supporting audit and compliance standards such as BRC
cleaning production machinery and equipment

Responsibilities
- Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Leading and working alongside the hygiene team to complete daily cleaning schedules
- Cleaning bakery production areas including equipment, floors, drains, walls and work surfaces
- Supporting the dismantling and reassembly of machinery for deep cleaning
- Ensuring allergen changeover cleans are completed correctly
- Operating hygiene equipment such as foamers, jet washers and industrial cleaning equipment
- Monitoring hygiene standards and addressing issues immediately
- Supporting the training and development of hygiene team members
- Completing hygiene documentation including cleaning records and pre-operational checks
- Ensuring safe handling and correct use of cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH
