Role Summary
As an IT Operations Specialist, you will support the day-to-day operation of CloudFactory's infrastructure, networks, and SaaS applications, helping ensure systems remain available, secure, and well maintained. You will carry out routine maintenance, provide first-level support for communication and productivity tools, and contribute to disaster recovery and compliance activities, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on IT operations

Technical knowledge: sound generic domain and specialist IT operations knowledge, typically gained from recognized bodies of knowledge, with an appreciation of the wider business context

Responsibilities
- Infrastructure and network support
- Carry out routine maintenance of physical data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
- Monitor environmental controls and network performance, escalating issues as needed
- Domain, DNS, and certificate management
- Assist in managing domain renewals and certificate lifecycle tasks
- Perform basic DNS record configurations (A, CNAME, MX) under supervision
- SaaS application support
- Test new features in SaaS applications against defined test cases
- Provide first-level support for communication and productivity tools (e.g., Gmail, Slack), resolving common user issues
- Disaster recovery and business continuity
- Assist in executing disaster recovery runbooks and participate in scheduled DR tests
- Escalate DR-related alerts and issues as required
- Governance and compliance
- Follow established procedures and security standards, applying good comprehension of conformance to corporate policies and information security
