Job Purpose
The role is responsible for the strategic management of Britam Uganda's marketing function, brand visibility, and the development and enhancement of general insurance products and services to meet evolving customer needs.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and collaborating across departments, the role holder will lead the implementation of marketing strategies and business initiatives. The position is responsible for managing and coordinating the development, improvement, and innovation of insurance products and services, monitoring industry trends, evaluating market opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of next-generation products and services that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the company.
- Oversee all marketing initiatives across the business.
- Develop promotional materials to support business unit marketing activities.
- Manage the effectiveness and productivity of marketing plans and projects.
- Monitor market trends and opportunities and make appropriate recommendations.
- Lead research, assessment, development, and improvement of new and existing products and services.
- Develop and execute business marketing strategies and demand-generation programs.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates company products in the market.
- Support sales enablement by communicating product value propositions and creating tools that support the sales process.
- Plan and manage the launch of new products and coordinate cross-functional implementation.
