Purchase Planning: managing the purchase of raw materials according to the production plan and maintaining a minimum/security stock level. Suppliers management: cooperate with all potential suppliers in Uganda for each raw material, negotiate about terms of cooperation – payment terms, prices, delivery, and quality; develop relationships with key suppliers. Prices/tender management: routinely provide information about market prices of raw materials. Purchase budgeting: preparation and presentation of purchasing needs for each week. Stock management: stock of raw material and critical items, turnover of each raw material. Payment terms management Main goals: 1. Availability of raw materials in time. 2.
