Welile is hiring 20 Platform Sales Officers.
From UGX 2,000,000 monthly, negotiable, plus product commission. Kampala and Entebbe.
Welile Technologies Limited is a technology company. Our platform connects tenants who need rent support with the people and partners who can fund it — and we are building technology that turns Africa's everyday behaviours into trusted data, and trusted data into financial value.
We are appointing twenty Platform Sales Officers to our Sales & Market Growth team.
This is a sales role. You will prospect, present, close and keep customers — tenants, landlords, agents and funding partners — using Welile's approved products and materials.
To be clear about what it is not: you will not lend money, receive customer funds personally, promise returns, or give financial advice. Welile is not a bank, a lender or an investment company, and you will never describe it as one.
We are looking for people who have:
→ Personally prospected, presented, followed up and closed sales — technology, telecom, insurance, property, banking, payments, FMCG, mobility or SaaS
→ A real network they can turn into qualified leads without damaging anyone's trust
→ The discipline to work to weekly activity and monthly sales targets
→ The honesty to say "I will confirm that" instead of guessing
Titles alone will not qualify you. We will look for evidence — activity, conversions, retention and integrity.
What we offer: a monthly retainer from UGX 2M, negotiable, plus commission on qualifying sales under a written schedule. Product training and authorisation before you sell anything. Senior support on any conversation you cannot answer — escalating protects the customer and costs you nothing.
And one rule stated up front: guessing is misconduct here. So is pressure, and so is handling customer money. Payments move through approved channels only. If that reads as the kind of place you want to sell for, apply.
