The Need
For 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people globally from violence by 2030, we are seeking to recruit a
SECURITY DRIVER- KAMPALA.
Job
to relevant stakeholders.
Complete and record trip logs, maintenance reports, and fuel usage accurately for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Conduct and document routine vehicle inspections and safety checks to prevent hazards and support secure operations.
Inform and explain organizational safety and security guidelines to passengers to promote awareness and adherence and follow up on all security events in accordance with IJM guidelines.
Ability to review, process, and maintain transportation and security documentation accurately using digital tools.
Skilled in conducting vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting to ensure operational safety.
Strong capability to communicate and relay safety protocols and travel updates clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in scheduling and coordinating routes and logistical
with attention to detail.
Effective engagement and collaboration skills to support security operations and respond promptly to emerging needs.

Understanding of security protocols and procedures, preferably with a law enforcement agency or NGO background.
