The Site Nurse will provide professional occupational health and nursing services at the worksite by delivering first aid, basic medical care, health education, and emergency response to employees. The Site Nurse will support the prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses, promote employee health and wellbeing, maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to the implementation of occupational health and safety programs in compliance with relevant legal and organizational requirements.
Essential Duties and
A minimum of a Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 2+ years’
Ability to provide immediate first aid and respond effectively to workplace medical emergencies.
Understanding of workplace injuries, occupational diseases, health surveillance, and workplace health risks.
Ability to assess and manage medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate referrals.
Ability to maintain confidential and accurate medical records, injury registers, treatment records, and health reports.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, management, and external healthcare providers.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and electronic health/record-keeping systems.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality, demonstrate ethical conduct, and handle sensitive employee health information appropriately.
Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
