Avanti was awarded a contract by a major oil and gas service company to source and employ in excess of 100 Ugandan engineers, technicians, operators and laborers to support their oil drilling operations within Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience
Deadline: 4th October 2026
- 2-4 years relevant hands-on
- in specialized Oil & Gas instrumentation.
- Core Expertise: Preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and installation support for mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation equipment under standard supervision.
- Technical Skills: Application knowledge and exposure to Roxar products, petroleum measurement standards, petroleum engineering, and well test applications.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Oil & Gas technical/OEM product training, or HSE (NEBOSH/IOSH).
