Summary
The Supply Chain Specialist will provide technical support for cold chain and vaccine supply chain interventions, with a strong focus on data management and analytics, digital systems, and evidence-based decision-making. The Specialist will work closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH), UNEPI, National Medical Stores (NMS), and other partners to strengthen cold chain and vaccine stock monitoring and improve the use and interoperability of existing and planned digital systems.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to MoH/UNEPI and NMS to strengthen cold chain equipment monitoring, maintenance planning, vaccine stock monitoring, and supply chain performance.
- Lead analysis and use of cold chain and vaccine supply chain data to inform planning, decision-making, equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and other corrective actions.
- Provide technical oversight for the upgrade and enhancement of the Cold Chain Information System (CCIS), coordinating with MoH, NMS, consultants, and relevant partners.

- Develop and review technical guidance materials, including training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and quick reference materials.
- Collaborate with MoH, UNEPI, NMS, digital health stakeholders, and partners, and represent PATH in relevant Technical Working Groups and coordination forums.
- Document and share implementation experiences, lessons learned, and best practices through national and global communities of practice, webinars, and other technical forums.
- Support project planning, budgeting, implementation monitoring, reporting, and coordination of cold chain and digital health interventions.
- Contribute to new business development, including stakeholder engagement, partnership scoping, and proposal development.
