Classified position is announced to all applicants. 4.5 hours per day/174 days per year /Salary Grade 3 $17.24 per hour (2026-27 Support Salary Table) (Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase for a promotion) NOTE: THIS IS A SIPPS READING TUTOR POSITION. WILL BE TRAINED IN A READING INTERVENTION PROGRAM AND TEACH STUDENTS IN SMALL GROUPS IN GRADES K-6. WORK DAYS ARE MONDAY-THURSDAY. GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the principal, or other supervisor, the teacher assistant assists the teacher with the conduct of a class. The assistance takes a variety of forms, such as preparing class materials, correcting and recording assignments, and a wide variety of other services. QUALIFICATION/
Requirements
1. High school graduation or equivalent
Education
- and/or experience. 2. The equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time
- at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree; or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of
