Responsibilities
- 1. Generate reports, inventories and orders in the Unit;
- 2. Generate budgets and account for use of physical resources of the Unit
- 3. Manage the use of laboratory equipment and facilities;
- 4. Compile reports and inventories;
- 5. Requisition, maintain and account for financial and other resources;
- 6. Prepare and supervise students’ practicals;
- 7. Liaise with and provide support to the academic staff in the teaching of practicals;
- 8. Participate in research to inform best practices in the Department;
- 9. Implement and maintain guidelines and regulations to ensure quality assurance, control and safety in unit;
- 10. Induct and mentor junior staff in the unit on technical skills;
- 11. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
